The mission of the Autauga
Area Community Foundation is to identify community needs
and respond to those needs through the building and stewarding
of endowment funds for philanthropic purposes. AACF's
annual grants program offers area nonprofits an opportunity
to apply for program support in the areas of education,
health and human services, historic preservation and cultural
arts.
Grant applications are available in January. The application deadline is March 10, 2008, and grants are awarded in May.
Workshops are held to provide
applicants with a better understanding of the process. Dates
and locations of the workshops are listed on the application.
