AACF Grants
The Autauga Area Community Foundation is an affiliated fund of the CACF

AACF

The mission of the Autauga Area Community Foundation is to identify community needs and respond to those needs through the building and stewarding of endowment funds for philanthropic purposes. AACF's annual grants program offers area nonprofits an opportunity to apply for program support in the areas of education, health and human services, historic preservation and cultural arts.

Grant applications are available in January. The application deadline is March 10, 2008, and grants are awarded in May.

Workshops are held to provide applicants with a better understanding of the process. Dates and locations of the workshops are listed on the application.

Grants awarded to Autauga area organizations - Representatives from 11 organizations gathered Thursday night at the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce to receive more than $18,000 being awarded by the Autauga Area Community. Since AACF began in 1998, the Foundation has awarded more than $300,000 in grants to citizens of the county.

Light Up the Night

To support its local grantmaking, AACF sponsors an annual “Party with a Purpose”.  The proceeds from the evening are used to support the grants made each May.
