Applying for Funds

The Central Alabama Community Foundation offers several opportunities for charitable, non-profit organizations to apply for funds.  Each year, CACF and its affiliates award over $300,000 in grants.  Program descriptions and applications are available below.

The Foundation also awards over $50,000 each year in scholarships to students in Montgomery, Elmore, and Lowndes Counties.  Criteria vary with each scholarship.  Applications may be downloaded below.

Please make plans now to attend one of our thirty-minute sessions to find out the Foundation’s new funding priorities, learn about changes in our application/review process, obtain an application, and ask questions specific to your project or area of interest. CACF offers Partnership Endowment Grants to Montgomery nonprofit organizations interested in establishing permanent endowment funds within the Foundation. These Challenge Grants will provide a $1 match for every $2 raised by the participating organization.
