Personalized Service.  We make giving easy and effective, accepting a wide variety of gifts and providing donors with many different charitable options.  You can contribute cash, stocks, property, and insurance policies.  You may make gifts during your lifetime or with a bequest.  You may establish a fund in your name or in the name of a loved one.  In most cases, your gift qualifies for maximum tax advantages under federal law.

2. Local Expertise.  Our staff has an in-depth understanding of the issues, opportunities, and resources that shape our community. They are familiar with the agencies and programs that are meeting needs and providing opportunities for citizens in our region.  Since its inception in 1987, the CACF has distributed grants in excess of $12 million to nonprofit agencies and organizations in the central Alabama region.
